The Maldives is a sovereign archipelago located in the Indian Ocean. It lies southwest of India & Sri Lanka. It has 26 atolls chained together from Ihavandhippolhu Atoll in the north to the Addu City in the South. Male is the capital it is called the “King’s Island”.
All the island in the Maldives are encircles by a lagoon with a crystal clear turquoise blue colour water. The islands are protected by a reef structure, housing one of the most magnificent and spectacular underwater life.
Velana International Airport (MLE) is the main airport, which connects Maldives to the rest of the world. Due to the fast growing tourism industry, Maldives is developing the International Airport and domestic airports to attract more Airlines to fly direct.
Maldives has a tropical climate, having 2 seasons: Dry Season and Wet Season. Dry Season – little bit of rain and lower humidity; from December to April. Wet Season – stronger wind and rain; from May to November.
Diving in the Maldives: dry and wet seasons have their advantages. Dry Season: gives good visibility, currents beginning to flow in November from the northeast; the currents start to weaken in February. Wet Season: Visibility isn’t as good, but water temperatures drops a couple of degrees, and this seems to inspire larger numbers of hammerhead sharks and reef sharks to congregate.
The Maldives currency – Maldivian Rufiyaa, is available in 500, 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5 Rufiyaa notes. The US Dollar is accepted as legal tender throughout the Maldives. Should you arrive with no USD$ then other major international currencies can be exchanged at the Bank of Maldives Foreign Exchange counter located in the arrival hall.
Importing alcohol, pork or pornography into the Maldives is forbidden and all luggage is X-rayed on arrival. On the way out, note that exporting sand, seashells or coral is also forbidden.
Voltage is 110 or 220 volts. An adapter is recommended for using appliances you bring with you. Most major hotels provide hair dryers and other amenities.
Maldives offers a free 30-day visa on arrival to everyone, which can be extended to a period of 90 days on providing valid proof of sufficient funds and a travel document.
All major credit and debit cards can be used at resorts, hotels and many shops and restaurants in Male as well as on local islands.

Transfer (airport to resort/ resort to airport) will be arranged by us and the resort for a smooth transition. Guest will be travelling via speed boat, seaplane, and domestic flights depending on the resort of the guest choice. Speedboat transfer are usually used for resorts located in Male atoll. As for Seaplane and domestic flight transfer are used for far away atoll resorts.
Our Smiling and Friendly Airport Representative will be waiting for you at the arrival gate, he will be holding a board with the guests name so that there won’t be confusion and easily to find. Our Airport Rep will bring the guest to the resort desk or lounge.
A reservation can be cancelled only by email or fax. On the time of booking request will advise you the cancellation policy. If you cancel the booking according to the cancellation policy, booking will be cancelled as requested and any deposits paid in advance will be refunded accordingly.
Any amendments to a reservation should be informed by writing. We will try our best to make the changes for depending on the resorts own policy and on availability.

With the confirmation of your booking we will send you a full quotation of your holiday and payment instructions and dead line for payment. Our terms of payment are always bank transfer. For each transfer there will be a charge of USD 35 to 120 depend on the amount, this amount will be included in our invoice.
Once your booking is confirmed we will send you a confirmation email to ensure the booking is confirmed. After receiving the payment/deposit will send you the vouchers by email or fax. The original vouchers will be handover to you on Arrival by one of our Representative.
