The actress just took “vacation mode” to another level.
Brooke Shields and the ocean have been associated with each other since she starred in the 1980’s hit “The Blue Lagoon” at the age of 14.
Now, the 52-year-old actress is back spending time in “another blue lagoon,” recently sharing photos of her sun-soaked beach getaway.
The actress, who recently launched her first fashion line, Brooke Shields Timeless, for QVC, decided to head out of the office recently and step into “vacation mode,” sharing a series of videos and photos as she spends her time soaking in pools and crystal clear waters.
While the actress has yet to reveal where she’s embarked on her tropical adventure, fans have been pointing to locations like the Maldives as a possibility thanks to the bright, blue waters captured in Shields’ shots.
Since last week, Shields has been doing everything from jet skiing to enjoying white sand beaches, sharing a bikini-clad photo of herself heading down a wooden staircase as she made her way to the water.
The celebrity is no stranger to bikinis, sporting them while shooting for “The Blue Lagoon” at several locations that included the private island of Turtle Island in Fiji.
The film even helped scientists to discover an unknown iguana species, the Fiji Crested Iguana, after herpetologist John Gibbons spotted it in the film and traveled to the island to learn more about the creature.
Today, you can visit the island yourself, which is only open to 14 couples at a time to ensure a private experience as you admire views of the Blue Lagoon and the Yasawa and Fiji Islands from your own villa.
